Creative Strategy & Brand CommunicationAI Workflows & Systems ThinkingIndependent Product Development

Marco Ibrahimo

I began in creative communication at SPiQ, where I was an early partner and worked across strategy, copywriting and client relationships for local and international brands.

My work later took me into international logistics, where I saw how much depends on clear communication between teams, partners and operations. That experience sharpened my interest in systems and technology, particularly the everyday problems that better workflows could solve.

Today, I bring those perspectives together through creative work and the independent products I'm developing.

Independent Products & Systems Development

My experience across creative work and real-world operations shapes how I approach product development: understand the problem, work with existing processes, and build practical solutions.

Freight-tech: Shipment Communication Intelligence

An independent freight-tech product exploring how teams can turn fragmented shipment updates, exceptions and handovers into clearer, client-ready communication.

As Founder & Product Lead, I lead product discovery, workflow design, functional requirements, UX decisions and prototype development.

AI-assisted Construction Estimating

An independent product exploring AI-assisted estimating for construction and renovation professionals, built around their existing budgeting methods and keeping human review at the centre.

As Project Initiator & Automation Design Lead, I focus on process discovery, functional design, automation requirements, workflow architecture and structured validation.

AI Workflows & Practical Systems

Practical solutions I developed independently for the challenges in my own operational work.

Personal initiatives, not official Manica systems or company-wide implementations.

Excel-based Operational Tracking

The problem
Each operation has different movements, documents and exceptions to follow.
The method
Tailored Excel structures bring that information into one view, making status and exceptions easier to track.

AI-Assisted Document Verification

The problem
Missing details and inconsistencies can be difficult to spot across documents.
The method
AI provides a second layer of checking. I review the findings and retain final human validation.

Three-Stage Shipment Reconciliation

The problem
Quantities and documents can diverge between origin, carrier and delivery.
The method
Compare all three records, identify discrepancies and investigate before final validation.

Follow the shipment

Establish the starting point: the loaded quantity and origin documents.

How I Approach
Product Development

The Automation Foundry Method (AFM) guides how I research problems, understand existing processes, develop prototypes and validate their usefulness.

  1. Find the problemStart with a real point of friction.
  2. Understand the processMap information, decisions and exceptions.
  3. Design the solutionSet rules, AI boundaries and human oversight.
  4. Validate in practiceTest usefulness, accuracy and control.
